VNP DIGITAL Peering Policy

We maintain an open peering policy, and we are happy to peer with you if we are connected over common Internet Exchange Points.

  • 1.0 We expect peers to keep a consistent session between us, the session will be disconfigured if it is down for over 5 days.
  • 1.1 Do not point static/default routes to us
  • The peer must have an actively maintained PeeringDB record
  • 1.2 A peering session must be setup over dualstack (IPv4 & IPv6), or IPv6 only. IPv4 ONLY peering requests will be rejected, unless a special exception is granted by our Peering Comittee.
  • 1.3 Peers should also have a NOC email or phone contact that can respond in a reasonable time (48 hours).
  • 1.4 Peers may only send us traffic for a destination network we advertise.
  • 1.5 We reserve the right deny bilateral peering requests based on the quality and size of the network.
  • Please do not send us a peering request if we already exchange routes over the Routeserver, unless you are not present there or there is an actual benefit to a bilateral session with us.

  • To request peering, please email us at
    Our PeeringDB page
